Appointment information for LED Light Therapy

Before any treatments a complimentary consult is required. At the consult we will review your medical history (please bring along a list of current medications and supplements). Photos will be taken at consultation and treatment appointments.

Please arrive with the treatment clean and free of make up, lotions, and sunscreen. Make up wipes are available.

Please review the following contradictions:

·  Cancer

·  Seizure disorder/Epilepsy

·  Photosensitive Disorder (A photosensitive disorder describes a condition which mean s that your are sensitive or react to normal amounts of light. Photosensitive disorders include Porphyria, Lupus erthematosus, photosensitive eczema and Albinism). May also be caused by medication.

·  Light induced migraines (although uncommon, the light may induce a migraine).

·  St. John’s Wart (taken in large amounts may cause some people to be slightly more sensitive to light).

·  Taking Steroidal Medications 

·  Pregnant or Breast-feeding

·  Broken or inflamed skin (treatment area)

·  Botox or cosmetic fillers (must wait 5 days post injection)

·  Some prescription medications and supplements (cause light sensitivity)
